I've asked to start the Magic Training Thread, but I haven't gotten the pm back yet. Am I allowed to make this thread? Oh well, I'll find out. So we basically rp our characters training? How would we exactly rp them training in the magic thread? Is everyone allowed to train in both threads?
I ask too many questions. If anyone has answers, I wouldn't mind hearing them.

Well, for the magic training, I think it should be a library, for the main part. You study the magics, and not just practice them. Maye there could be a magical training room for practice, on magic resistant dummies, or something.
But magic is mainly the learning, rather than the actual doing. There should be a library section dedicated to healing, I think. What about the engineers? There should be a thread, similar to the Magical and Physical training threads, where there are construction materials. A sort of official armory room. Hmm, is anyone else reading this?

I'm reading it! Besides, that's a good point. I like the part where it's a library and a training thread. That's awesome. The engineer thing is a good idea too.

I, as the only engineer as of now, am definately reading it Calypso!
I'm not sure how the hell it would work though, I mean to RP the actual putting together of things as you would have to in a training sort of thing for engineering,...you might have to actually KNOW something about crossbows etc,...whatever, we'll see how it goes as the clan "evolves" so to speak,...

We need someone to take the role of the "Librarian" who teaches up these magics and scolds us on not knowing the exact form and technique because we havent read our books closely enough.

Well, I thought on the librarian idea.
A) I could allow Quarre that position. She doesn't like fighting anyway. She could be like the clan cleric, or something. B) There could be a NPC (non-player character) that we can all Rp from time to time to be the Librarian.
Well, that's my thought on the matter. As for the engineering thing, use your imagination! I think that the engineering could be split in two. One would be the physical aspect, and that would fall in physical training. That would be the putting together of the weapon and testing it. The second, in the magic training. You could create/engineer weapons with magical infusions. The library could also serve as a reference for your engineer work.

Okay, I've made the first magical training thread. Calypso has generously made up the librarian for us, all hail Calypso. Anyway, those ideas are all great! I can't wait until we have this training thing all figured out. The physical and magical training are set up. I guess the engineer training will be along side the magical?

Alongside the magical sounds good, but can we get this topic in one thread, and not two? I think it is also in general. Ignore that one from here on, and post any comments on it here.
Oops, I hadn't mentioned the librarians name. I was counting on some interaction from Shimizu, but he's lazy, so I'll probably have to go edit.

PMed DS-izzle for rizzle. (And I'm don-izzle with the -izzles) And he says that engineer's pretty much just go to physical training as they aren't going to fight with their building skills. Well, whatever, his clan. I guess I'll drag myself over to the physical training section now then,...

Calypso, I think we should all rp the librarian like you said earlier, you already have 2 characters.

Hmm, I have already put him in there, but he is not a refined character. Yeah, alright, everyone can Rp him. There's already a small description of him in the thread. He stays there, for the most part, if he leaves, he's mine to rp, k? I created Maomarka long time ago, well, not that long, but he's still a story character in a novel I'm writing. I can see how I wouldn't want anyone messing with his base character... How about a free for all assistant? Yeah!
There's an idea, Maomarka is mine, we can all rp the assistant, who's to be bossed around anyway. But the Tomb itself is huge, and should rightly have caretakers, right? There should be plenty of NPCs.

Works for me Cal-y for shal-y mo' bal-y, banano fanana do da-ly something or other,.....
Well now that you can't understand above, I'll restate: Great idea Calypso! Works for me!
In fact, I have another!
A fourth "path" you can take:
Librarian?
Heh? Heh?

I'd think the Path of the Alchemist is more likely. Like I said, the assistant can be multi controlled, after all, how unrealistic is it to have only one (two?) people running a library of that magnitude?

Hmm,...point taken, and in the GUA thread it looks like alchemy is already becoming a topic with Calypso isn't it? Either way the idea for the fourth path I had was mainly going to be a "Keeper of Spells" sort of thing, a person who is like an engineer except they make spells not items. Ok now: Heh? Heh?
